Total = 100 people Let A = people having popcorn Let B = people having candy & C = people having soft drink P(A) = 62, P(B) = 20, P(c) = 70 P(A intersection B) = 5, P(A intersection C) = 51, P(B intersection C) = 11 P(A intersection B intersection C) = 3 P(people having something) = P(A union B union C) = P(A) + P(B) + P(C) - P(A intersection B) - P(B intersection C) - P(A intersection C) + P(A intersection B intersection C) = 62 + 20 + 70 - 5 - 11 - 51 + 3 P(A union B union C = 88 P(people having none of above items) = 100 - P(people having any of the above item) = 100 - 88 People having none of these = 12 people
