• Disrespect of Co-Workers & Acceptance of Differences
  • This issue can be addressed by providing diversity management training & inducing the values of acceptance & respect of the co-workers' differences.
• Personal Ideologies & Beliefs
  • The recruiters need to be told to keep their personal beliefs independent of their professional work. For example, political, ethnic, social beliefs etc. should not be looked into while screening the employees.
• Cultural Differences
  • Awareness of diversity & cultural sensitization training in the workplace can help overcome this concern.
• Gender Discrimination
  • Gender sensitization & gender equality awareness programs should be implemented.
• Employment of Employees with Physical & Mental Disabilities
  • The focus should be on recruiting employees based on skills, qualification & attitude rather than any other factors unrelated to the job opportunity.
• Age Discrimination
  • Every applicant must be given equal opportunity regardless of their age.
