Answer: B and C

Both Notch and Wnt ligands are necessary for the early development of the T cell. They were first found in drosophila and works in cascades of reaction which leads to the development of pf T cells. Notch signalling is necessary for differentiation while Wnt is necessary for proliferation. The specialised epithelial cells present in the stromal compartment in the thymus provides everything necessary for the development of the thymocytes like Wnt protein and Notch ligands and other proliferating and differentiation factors.
