Website prototyping is an essential part of the UX process. It can be any demo or mockup what a website looks like when it goes live. Prototypes are interactive demos of websites and they are often used to gather feedback from project stakeholders. When people talk about prototype they usually want to refer interactive prototype which allows users to navigate from one page to another and use functions like drop-down menus. There are different ways to create interactive prototypes. For instance, we have seen clickable prototypes in power points or MS words. There are a variety of prototyping tools available in the market that is specifically used to make prototype easier.

Benefits of website prototyping:

1. A website prototyping process allows the project stakeholders to see what the final product will look like at the time of making the project. There are numerous motivations to do this:

• to pick up a concession to what is in and out of the degree,

• to create support or even speculation for the undertaking,

• to test hypotheses and thoughts in regards to the format and structure of the site,

• to assemble client input through the ease of use testing.

Normally a website prototype will experience a couple of rounds of usability testing where it is continually refined until the task group is sure it can progress to the next phase of improvement.
