C) oncogens that are converted to proto oncogens by mutation

Proto oncogens regulates cell growth and differentiation. Those are group of genes that makes normal cells into cancerous cells when mutated. They have many different functions in the cell. Some signals cell division while some causes them to apoptosis that is cell death.

Eg HER2, Ras etc
