Do you think the supervisor/manager of the people excessively using thee personal devices should say something? What should be the penalty of ignoring the command?
answer-
Yes, i think Manager of the people/employees who excessively use their personal device at work should say something like stop them using their personal devices like using mobile phone to make long personal calls or check social media at work on their phone or make vlogs etc because Manager are responsible for the employees and their work. When employees started to use personal devices at work then their performance is compromised as they become more focus on social media, personal chats etc and ignore their work in the office. This all comes on responsible Manager or supervisor for not giving proper attention or not take any measure to stop them.
Use of personal device also hinder the performance of others for example- an employee most often make calls to his wife and talk personal matters in front of others some may be intimate and some may be ragefull like fighting with wife over phone infront of co-workers. this distract others at office and create bad working environment.
For this Manager should take proper steps like making certain policy for use of personal device in case of emergency in limited manner. Policy to silent their phones so that others would not get disturbed.
If employees ignore the command of supervisor or Manager and still use their personal devices then they should face disciplinary actions like confiscation of their devices, Banning the person from use of their personal device permanently, Impose fine and termination of employment at last resort for violation of command and policy .
*hope this would help you. pls give an upvote . i would greatly appreciate it. thankx.
