Answer #1

Answer 1 – False

It is true that companies are moving towards target marketing over mass marketing but that is not because of technological advancement to reach or contact many customers at once. However, in target marketing companies focus on specific group of audience which can bring higher success to companies when they are not able to reach mass audience due to lack of funds.

Answer 2 – False

People within the same demographic group does not necessarily have same psychographic characteristics, they could have different characteristics. Demographics groups are decided on the basis of age, gender, nationality, background etc. which may include people with different lifestyles, preferences, social class, personality, etc.

Answer 3 – True

It is true that poorly designed packages can cause headaches for customers. If the package is not good then the companies can lose their sales because customers would not buy the product with poor packaging. Poor packaging examples are – hard to open packing, too much information on label, sticky labels, etc.

Answer 4 – True
