1. Define the term “Visual Literacy”:

visual literacy is understanding, interpreting and comprehending any picture or visual image that is generally the interpretation of a written or printed text/literature.

2. Identify three specific things you’ll do, this term, to achieve “Visual Literacy”:


1.learn more words to enrich vocabulary so that use specific and right words to interpret the visual. 2.practice writing so that I can better explain what the picture wants to convey
3.learn to look at picture from different perspectives

3. Identify three specific ways you will assist others (classmates, friends, family, acquaintances…) , this term, with developing “Visual Literacy:”


1. writing down own interpretations and then discuss with everyone
2. Exchanging views and assimilating them to widen our perspective to look at images
3.sketch our own thoughts and asking one another about what they perceived and then telling what one actually meant to convey.
