Almost all the research that are undertaken is to identify, test and propose a change in the way that phenomenon operate. It could be an event, a product or even a behavior in the society. Thus, scientists, researchers, inventors help the society get better products and services by studying them in a systematic and scientific way. Research results are most of the time realistic and real because they don’t stop with theorizing their research but prove with proper data in real time. It also studies the behavior and social trends and suggests changes needed to improve the social life. If it doesn’t contribute to social change or yield any results that would bring some change, then it cannot be considered as a research. This is what is meant by the statement ‘research can and should be means of social change’.
