*) Challenge your team to do better and do it often.

*) Take good care of your associates, and they'll take good care of your customers, and they'll come back.

*) Celebrate your people's success, not your own.

*) Know what you're good at and keep improving.

*) Do it and do it now. Err on the side of taking action.

*) Communicate by listening to your customers, associates and competitors.

Swot analysis is a strategic planning tool that can be used by Marriott international managers to do a situational analysis of the firm. It is a useful technique to understand the present strength, weakness and threats Marriott international is facing in its current business environment.

   * The profitability ratio and net contribution % of Marriott international are below the industry average.

   * Financial planning is not done properly and efficiently.

   * Not highly successful at integrating firms with different work culture.

   * Need more investment in New technologies.

   * Days inventory is high compare to the competitors.

   * High attrition rate in work force.

2) Hilton hotels and resorts is Hilton's flagship brand and one of the largest hotel brands in the world. The brand is targeted at both business and leisure travelers with locations in major city centers, near airports, convention centers, and popular vacation destinations around the world. Hilton hotels and resorts participates in Hilton Honors, Hilton's guest loyalty program. Members who book directly through Hilton- owned channels receive exclusive discounts and amenities such as free Wi-Fi, digital check-in , keyless entry and the ability to use a mobile app to choose specific rooms.

The original company was founded by Conrad Hilton. As of 2017, there were more than 570 Hilton hotels and resorts properties in 85 countries and territories across six continents. So the Hilton hotels and resorts is so successful.
