Answer #1
  1. Oncogenes

The oncogenes are those which has the potential to cause tumor and form cancer due to it’s over expression. These genes generally undergo some sort of mutation and hence their increased expression at high level leads to formation of cancer. Due to the amplification and expression of the oncogenes, it leads to tumor or cancer formation and hence it is present within the DNA of cancerous cells.

  1. C) Gorilla

The genome of the monkey will be most similar to the Gorilla because both of them belong to the same lineage. They are both descendants of the same ancestral lineage. They have evolved from same evolutionary line and hence they share a lot of gene sequences that are similar to each other.
