Answer:-a) The input signal frequency (9 kHz) is less than the cut-off frequency (700 kHz) of the LPF. Hence signal is simply passed through the filter. Hence output signal is same as input signal.

Answer:-b) In this case also, the input signal frequency is less than cut-off of LPF. Hence same signal is passed to output of the LPF.
