Saturated NaCl solution works as an drying agent. This is basically uses to dry or remove moisture from orhanic layers. When this saturated solution poured in any organic compound the water present in the organic compound dissolves in in the saturated solution rapidly because this saturated solution tends to becole unsaturated and flow of solvent occur from low concentration to high conventration. If there will be normal solution of NaCl then the rate of drying or trapping the water will be very less.

NaCl solution is the solution made up of NaCL and distilled water. It contain some amount NaCL as asolute and water as a solvent. The solution become saturated NaCl solution when no more NaCl can be disssolved. At this state the amount of MaCl added to it total NaCl added appeared as a precipitate.
