Early voting has been used by many states to increase turnout in elections. However, in some states, voting starts so early that some citizens are allowed to vote for president before the first presidential debate. Do you think people should be allowed to vote before getting to see everything that happens during the entire campaign? What happens if someone votes early only to find out some very negative news about his or her preferred candidate later?

I need 100+ words. Thanks!! Due next week.

Answer #1

Logically, one should vote after getting to know the views of every candidate which can happen during the entire campaign. However, I feel that there is nothing wrong in allowing people to vote before getting to see everything that happens during the entire campaign. The reason being is that there are people who follow certain ideology and believes firmly on one specific party in that regard, and no matter what happens they would vote for that party only. So early voting will help such category of people.

If someone votes early and then finds out very negative about his or her preferred candidate later, then there is not much he can do, as he has already cast his vote.
