Answer

total number of children = 12

number of boys = 6

number of girls = 6

we can arrange 12 children in 12! ways

similarly, boys and girls can be arranged in 6! and 6!

Total number of ways = (number of ways of arranging 12 children)/(number of ways of arranging boys*number of ways of arranging girls)

= 12!/(6!*6!)

= (12*11*10*9*8*7*6!)/(6!*6!)

= (12*11*10*9*8*7)/6!

= 924 sequences
