mass of forosemide = 50. mg

concentration of forosemide in IV = 200. mg/500. mL

volume of IV = (mass of forosemide) / (concentration of forosemide in IV)

volume of IV = (50. mg) / (200. mg/500. mL)

volume of IV = 125 mL

This volume has to be delivered in 2 hours

flow rate = (volume of IV) / (time)

flow rate = (125 mL) / (2 hours)

flow rate = 62.5 mL/hour
