Answer #1

Answer: There is characteristically more GC base pairs in the DNA sequence than in an average organism's DNA sequence.

Explanation: Normally there are four nitrogenous bases in the DNA. Adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine. Adenine pairs with thymine (AT) and cytosine with guanine (CG). When we say an organism is GC rich that means there are more GC base pairs than an average organism's DNA sequence.
