In my opinion, Phoenix’s strengths are their ability to build and maintain long term relationships with their suppliers, their initiative to increase employee engagement, and the fact that they have focused on core areas and products and not allowed the company to engage in more categories and products than it could handle. I think these strategies have allowed the company to sustain profits for as long as it has.

Phoenix’s weakness lies in its marketing aspects. Its products are limited to whom they’ll reach. Having no identified marketing strategy will cost them to even lose the interest of some current consumers. A great opportunity for the company lies in advertising and maybe even crossing international lines. With many people in the world looking for healthy alternatives to everything nowadays, Phoenix could see tremendous growth by entering markets that are otherwise foreign to their business. For what we can tell from the study, Phoenix does not appear to have any promotions or publications on its products while other competitors have powerful propaganda on advertising and the establishment on the public relations aspects, it makes Phoenix easily forgotten by old consumers and never be recognized by new ones.
