Answer #1

There are many employees who start their careers with positive affect and then get into negative affect and the same applies to vice versa. But most employees start their career with positive affect. The reasons are energy, enthusiasm, passion to grow and do something different, and eagerness to learning.

The negative affect occurs typically as they get experience and at the age of retirement.

Negative affectivity is related to negative emotions like sadness, disgust, fear, and distress. Major causes that lead to negative affect are workplace environment, changes in the organizational culture or organization restructuring, Insufficient recognition, lack of challenges, and job security. As the employees get the experience, their tendency to learn new concepts, theories, practices, and processes reduce. The employees resist changes and reflect the negative affect.
