Answer #1

1. Answer is b. pterophytes.

There are two types of plant species vascular and non vascular. vascular include tracheophytes and non vascular includes bryophytes. Bryophytes includes liverwort, hornworts and mosses.Non vascular do not contain conducting cell like xylem.

Mosses comes under phylum Bryophyta .It resembles like vascular plants. They posses stems that conduct water gives vascular like properties.

Liverworts comes under phylum Marchantiophyta. It is a smal plant as wart means small.

Hornworts comes under phylum Anthocerotophyta. They dont grow flower .

2. Answer is d.

mobile cilia, flagella and pseudopodia. Protista are motile and generate movement by cilia , flagella and pseudopodia. protista like Euglena has one or more flagella which rotate and whip for movement.

Body of Parameucium are covered by cilia which beat to swin in aquatic environment.

Amoeba form cytoplasmic extention called pseudopodia through which it moves.

3.Answer is c.

Vascular tissue and high plasmolysis level allow plant to move from aquatic to terrestrial habitat. Vascukar tissue like xylem help in conducting water from environment.

4. Answer is a.

Phylum porifera has no true tisaue , no notable body symmetry and have simple water canal system.

No tissue means this Phylum don't have nervous system and sense organ.

Body have generally pores through which water can enter. They are filter fedders. fluid enter through opening called ostia.

Ony sponges of phylum Porifera has no body symmetry.
