Answer #1

One of the issues in diversity from the field of media includes the recruitment of individuals who are favorable and appealing to the audience . They prefer individuals from that of a middle or upper middle class with a young age in their early adulthood with the maximum amount of experience and skills. This can inturn lead to issues such as unemployment in the case of other sections of society. It impacts the field as it causes it to be homogenous lacking diverse cultures and individuals . This is further hindered when the person falls into the category of credentials that are not accepted or popularly demanded by the mainstream. Social class, status can age can improve the ability of an individual to feel accepted and foster belongingness .
