help me to formulate problem statement and what can be the sub problems

Supply Chain Management for the perishable Bakery Products are required for broadly two stages:

1. Inward supply chain management for Perishable Raw Material.
2. Outward supply chain management for Perishable Raw Material.

Often, a third party logistics company is hired for transporting perishable goods to various locations. Company A can resolve the problem of temperature abuse and food safety in following ways:

1. Arranging Refrigerated vehicles for transportation of milk and milk product. (Process and Problem)
2. To purchase bulk quantity of Milk Products to make transportation economical. (Process and Problem)

The problems that are broadly faced in supply chain management of Perishable goods:

• • Spoilage of goods during Transport (Sub Problem)
  • Tracks being used to deliver the perishable items are required to possess a tamper-proof recorder which helps the company A to track the temperature changes throughout transit. (Sub Problem)
• Loading and unloading of items in temperature-proof room, as it takes 4-5 hours. (Sub Problem)
• Traffic Hurdles in transit (Sub Problem)
• Defect in Refrigerator and causing the material to be defected. (Sub Problem)
• Internal environment and External Environment (Sub Problem)
• Tire Puncture or defect in the vehicle, say contingencies with the health of vehicle (Sub Problem)
• Climatic Hurdle in transit (Sub Problem)
• Transporters Strike for some reason, but delay in delivery may spoil food (Sub Problem)
• Non availability of Refrigerated Vehicle (Problem)
• Since the product is in Bulk and it can be sold through many retail and whole dealers, the vehicle has to decide the routes as to deliver goods to many dealers. (Problem)
• Due to again and again opening of the door of the vehicle the temperature of inside the vehicle may not be maintained and can spoil food. (Problem)
• In case the goods are supplied Interstate (the goods like Roosted Chicken, Patties, Cakes, Muffins, Pasties) where transit time is higher. Supply Chain Management again becomes a challenge, to overcome the un-certainties of the way and to deliver goods in good condition to customer. (Problem)
• The orders to be delivered are very urgent but the volume of the Orders are not sufficient that may cause the cost of transportation very high, effecting to the net profit on the products being delivered. (Sub Problem)

In case the Bakery receives order for Air Flights then there are different challenges are faced to deliver the goods from Kitchen to Flight:

There are many challenges and conflicts of problems faced by the company on a daily basis.

• Delay in flight arrival or additional passengers (Problem)
• For supplying food from the airline kitchen to the flights. A cold chain is maintained using say approximately 40 trucks. Trucks are the most expensive component of the chain and then the manpower. (Problem)
• Trucks cannot stand on the bay for longer duration as traffic congestion is another big problem at the airport.
