For your data, you should see that the ball travels roughly the same distance when launched at 30° as it does when launched at 60° (as well as 15° and 75°). This occurs when the launch height is the same as the landing height. Why is this so? My data doesn't really show this can someone explain why this statement is supposed to be true?

A handwritten solution for this question is given below

Now in case of height I would like to add that if the launch and Landing height are not same then the range will change . Projectile motion is mainly a parabola upside down .. now if think for symmetry then if the object has to travel same distance with respect to the middle point then surely it has to be in same height ( height at launching time ).
