Total net position - (Net investment in capital assets category + Restricted net position); where
Net investment in capital assets = Capital assets - (Accumulated depreciation + Outstanding debt related to financing of capital assets)
Restricted net position consists of resources restricted by (i) external parties, inclusive of contributors, creditors, grantors, or by laws or rules of other governments; or (ii) laws or provisions in constitution of the reporting government.
