Hello, I'm Vikrant to help you.

Attention simply refers to how we actively process specific information in our environment. In other words when we actively focused on something we want. Example infancy attention towards toys when they see, adolescence attention towards new mobiles, etc

Now three types of changes in attention skills in between infancy and adolescence.

1. Sustained Attention is the ability to focus on one specific task for a continuous amount of time without being distracted. During the first year, infants attend to novel and eye-catching events, orienting to them more quickly, this skill comes first.

2. Selective Attention is the ability to select from many factors or stimuli and to focus on only the one that you want while filtering out other distractions and along with this one more skill further, come Divided Attention is the ability to process two or more responses or react to two or more different demands simultaneously also called multi-tasking.

3. Executive Attention is particularly good at blocking out unimportant features of the environment and attending to what really matters. It is the attention we use when we are making steps toward a particular end {a focus on completing steps to achieve a goal}.

Thank You.
