Answer- Language is a cognitive process which starts from early childhood. Good communication skills are essential for living a successful life. Children learn a language by listening and communicating with parents, teachers, siblings etc. First, a child learns to express himself verbally that helps in developing good reading and writing skills. If a child knows to speak various words, it becomes easy to read with clarity and proficiency. A child develop good communication skills through interacting with his family and friends. Writing refers to the type of language in which written symbols and words are used for communication. It presents our emotions in a structured pattern. Good oral languages skills also help in developing effective writing skills such as understanding of spellings, punctuation, grammar, arranging sentences etc. So, we can say that speaking, reading and writing skills are interconnected and necessary for effective communication.
