It is very important for a manager to hire staff with the right skills, and support their development with an effective performance management system.

HOW TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS: There are more different ways on improving the skills among managers to ease into the leadership role. These methods includes:

a) Clear vision to improve the abilities of the team members: These includes the questioning self and understanding the vision of a company.

b) Get personal to get engagement : After understanding the vision of a company, the manager should transmit ideas or possibilities to the team members to become more meaningful and powerful.

c) Maintain good communication skills: Regular meetings can make the team members to communicate each other. Moreover it reduces confusion and give effective information to the team members for a quality work.

d) Understand the power of gratitude: Encourage other team members for their high rated works by showing a gratitude towards them. Publicly acknowledging the contributors of team workers is even better.

e) TRy to handle toxic employees by arranging a meeting with the employees concerned to set limits on their odd behaviors.

f) Motivate the employees and make the work more fun as possible.
