Answer #1

Atheletes after exercise experience increased heart rate, increased consumption of oxygen reduces the oxygen delivery to the body immediately after exercise. There is accumulation of lactic acid which can be  counteracted by stimulation of ventilation. So to recover after strenuous exercise athletes can do certain things like incorporating stretching while cool down period.Get themselves hydrated as there can be dehydration due to loss of sweat.Electrolytes can be consumed to replenish the salts lost from body.Hydrotherapy should be incorporated in post exercise recovery, As the body when immersed in water experiences change causing change in blood flow, heat generated, muscle relaxation.Compression garments can be used that gives less space to swelling.Carbohydrates should be taken as glycogen stores are reduced at the end of exercises. Massages will also help in bringing the body back to normal.

Detecting Substrings (C++ Version) Introduction A very common task that is often performed by programs that work with text files is the problem of locating a specific substring within the file. I am sure we’ve all done this many times when working with Word, Notepad, or other editors. Since we don’t have a GUI or other means of displaying the contents of a file all at once, let’s modify the problem slightly. Rather than locating a specific substring within a...

Tens Tips for changing health behaviors After years of working with health science students to help older adults change health behaviors, it would be wonderful if I could offer the reader a simple formula for increasing the probability of success. Unfor- tunately, I fall victim to the “kitchen sink” syndrome that I think also afflicts the PRECEDE model just described. There are many factors that can influence the success or failure of an individual’s attempt to change a health behavior,...
