We had a situation where the whole team has complained against the Leads behavior being very rude towards them and the Lead herself filed a complaint against the manager for work harassment. The issue was resolved with multiple focus groups to identify what the real issue was. There were separate focus groups held with teams, separate interviews were held with manager. We included the Business Leader and Account Manager to gather evidence in form of logins, emails, etc and managed to resolve it. The Manager and Lead was found to be at fault for over pressuring the team and were given counselling for this. Both were removed from the project and assigned different projects to avoid any unconscious backlash on the team.
The program course work is designed to really suit and simulate the day to day situations I face. I effectively related the conflicts situation which arose during the week and able to resolve it applying the concepts taught in the coursework.
