• Analyse the impact of previous promos and provide feedback on changes

Based on the Appearance resources in the course room, how do you feel your appearance impacts how people perceive your ability to carry out your job duties?

Since I was working in creative agency, there was very less importance given to the dressing. Everyone was mostly in casual wear and it never inhibited them from doing phenomenal work. I used to wear casual clothes and was keeping a stubble and the fresh out of college look was all over me. I never felt anyone look down on me or reject my ideas based on the appearance. When a producer or executive director came in full formals they would be instantly recognized sine there were very few who came to work in formals. But based on the resources in the course, I do not feel there was any impact on how people perceived my ability to do work. I mixed well with the crowd in terms of appearance, the only thing that mattered was that the work was completed on time.

Based on the appearance resources and feedback I have received from others, I am still wearing my past. I still keep the same look I had in my college and have not grown out of it. Maybe it is due to the fact that I got to work in a creative agency where looks and appearance did not matter as much as it would in other business areas. I have observed my seniors and can see the subtle differences in the appearances they have over me. The look very mature and composed on every occasion whereas I still give the impression that I am fresh out of college due to stubble and the clothes.
