if you were an HR manager, do you think it would be possible to maintain the morale of your firm`s employees in the face of shrinking budgets and benefits? how might you do so?
As being an HR Manager, I would be able to maintain the morale of my firm's employees even in time of cutting budgets and benefits to employees by following way.
1. Keeping my Communication very open and Transparent with my employees, because in bigger Organizations what is happening in the company is not known, so it is necessary to make them know what is happening so that they don’t start getting any negative thoughts and spread any rumors. This should be done on a daily basis so that communication is clear at all levels of employees and leaders.
2. Work on Team Building with my Staff. Engaging them in different theme games or making different groups and playing hidden search games to create enthusiasm between them to remove stress and pressure in order to generate more productivity within themselves and make the environment stress free.
3. Create a Positive Workplace Environment by offering them snacks, perks, Restroom to Rest, Playing Music to keep employees motivated throughout the day. Ring bells for Achievement of Staff to make him motivated.
4. Make them realize their value to the organization. Design Employee recognition programs to make staff realize their importance to the organization. It is important for staff to understand their value to avoid him think of negative thoughts. For example, if a company is hiring new people, staff might think their job is under threat, so make them understand they are safe and filling the expectation.
