Herbal medicines are being used very much these days not only in Canada but also all over the world . There is a concern for there overuse because people are trusting herbal and natural ways for curing any diesease or problem. Over used is a concern due to following reasons-
• People depend on them blindly because they think that they are all natural and will never do any harm to their body. They think that using it multiple times doesn't affects body's physiology any how.
• Since the products are made up of plants and its extract, means they are naturally extracted, people think that they cannot do any harm and its dosage depends completely on them.
Natural remedies are regulated in Canada by providing herbal product that will naturally heal and are very beneficial for people's health. These products are obtained from different plant parts that often provide antimicrobial, antiseptic, healing properties to our body and immune system.Sometimes due to blind folded believe on natural products, they are not even get testified and released without going through checks.I think that these products should not be extensively regulated without proper checking. They are beneficial for health but they should get testified before application of them on humans. Anything in excess is never healthy nor profitable for environment as well as body. So there should be regulation of these medicines so that it could be ensured they are safe for use.
