From a personal security point of view, why might we have chosen not to make a hyperlink?

  • There can be multiple reasons why a website does not consist of a hyperlink and why there must be a hyperlink. In such cases, the only reason I can suggest looking from a security point of view is as follows:
    • It can be because the links might sometimes provide the internal paths of how the server is mended to work for particular websites through which the hackers can roll out important information.
    • It can also be implemented because of the important data that is being spilled out by the links sometimes the credentials which must not be done like passwords, username, etc.
    • There can also be forge done to the links bypassing some values in order to get something nasty from the database like what we do when we are penetration testing for SQL Injections and XSS vulnerabilities.
  • Hence, these are some of the reason why we might have chosen not to make a hyperlink.
