B is not the correct answer because when there is an advertising for a particular product consumers start feeling encourage to buy it. This becomes an additional source for its demand. Because now there are more consumers in the market for the product, the company experiences an increased consumer base which is a reflection of increased market share. This implies that competition will reduce and not increase.
