1. Coaching or Counselling an employee for the performance improvement is an important perspective when you repeatedly receive negative feedback on your performance or activity. Performance improvement is a very delicate topic, so one employer should take an informal, prevention-minded action through a strong feedback. The Employee Performance can be improved by following such actions and steps:

1. Define the performance problem: The first and initial step talks about defining what the actual performance problem is. By defining the same problem and knowing what might be the reasons or consequences, one can understand and take better corrective actions.

2. Invite the employee to the discussion: Second step involves involving and inviting the employee to an open discussion regarding the problem. Asking him what might be the reason of his negative performance and what can the employer do to make him perform better are important topics to be discussed.

3. Create the plan for improvement: After discussion and knowing the problems, the employer in collaboration with the employee create the action and corrective plan for the employee where the employee works according to the plans made and tries to cover all the standards mentioned and developed for him in the new plan of improvement.

4. Follow Ups: At last, controlling and follow ups are to be required. An employer would regularly check up for the follow ups of the performance and see whether the plan makes the employee's performance better or not.

2. Performance management system is a system that has being designed successfully to achieve the target objectives and to focus on improving and helping the employees to understand the meaning of the needs of the organisation and how the employees can effectively and efficiently deliver and prosper to those organisation's needs with them.

Every organisation has a reward system in it. The main reason behind rewarding employees is to retaining them, motivate them, improving the productivity and reducing the turnover costing. Employees are considered the most important valuable assets of the company and it is very important to always influence and motivate them for their dedicated contribution to the organization. Role of reward based system in the organisation are:

1. Retaining the Employee: The main role of the incentive and reward plans is to retain the employee in the organisation. By providing the most effective plans as per the needs of the employees, employees feel satisfaction and comfort in the organisation, which thus lead to them being retained in the organisation and not leaving the organisation which affects in the goodwill of the company.

2. Motivating the Employee: Reward based system are also used to motivate and influence the employee. Many employees requires either a monetary incentive like salary, bonus etc or a non monetary incentive like organisational's culture, esteem, reputation in the organisation to stay motivated and dedicated towards their task.

3. Improving the Productivity: By motivating and influencing the employees with the use of reward based system, the organisation's productivity also increases sharply. Motivated and satisfied employees tend to perform better and produce better which affects the profits to become higher and productivity to increase in the organisation.

4. Reducing the Turnover Cost: At last, reward based system also plans a role of reducing the turnover cost of the organisation. By motivating and making the employees happy and satisfied, they would not leave the organisation often which thus would lead to reducing the huge costs of employee turnover which would lead to more profits and sustainability for the organisation.
