1) Integumentary System- It is the system majorly regulates body externally as well as internally. It includes the skin, hair, nails, glands, and nerves which performs the functions of protection against external factors, eliminating waste products, maintain body temperature etc. Skin is used for protection against environmental factors like dust, water & hair on them is to monitor the body temperature.
2) musculoskeletal system - as the name suggests it consists of Muscle and Skeleton. It provides form, support, stability, and movement to the body. Skeleton of the body provide a shield to all the precious organs and to allow easy movement of the body Muscles provide strength required for the easy movement of particular organ. This movement can be voluntary or involuntary. Muscles can be skeletal, smooth or cardiac type with a specific function assigned. Heart contains special muscles as mentioned above called cardiac muscle which act involuntary to pump the blood throughout the body.
3) Nervous System - It is the network of nerve cells and fibres which transmits nerve impulses between parts of the body. It is in body’s electrical wiring used to transmit signal from one part to the brain & vice versa based on environmental signal. In this system many factors play vital role such as hormones, neurotransmitters, ions etc for the very quick signal transmission. For example if someone pricks someone with needle immediately the hand is taken off, that much fast nervous system output time is.
If we see this three systems are functionally independent but makes important functional backbone of the human body.

Hi, I am taking up Human Biology. I need to know how Salmonella infecting and food poisoning affects 11 major body systems. I have looked online and can't find much. The systems are Cardiovasc, Lymphatic (Immunity), Digestive, Respiratory, Urinary, Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, Integumentary, Endocrine, and Reproductive systems. My teacher said that this disease does affect all of these systems in some way. Thank you!
