Having got a scope to travel with my family to various countries, I believe, I have explored the world from the light of Globalization as well. I can appreciate the flow of products from one nation to the other, its manufacturing quality and other processes better than I would have otherwise, because upon traveling abroad, I learnt a little about the exclusivities of each place, especially about the things that are manufactured in such places. Knowing the value of exchange rates fluctuations, I realize how important it is to consider this factor when setting a unit in the host country. All the businesses worldwide, are primarily dependent upon the Foreign exchange markets, besides the market mechanisms. I also learnt how difficult it is for any business to set in a foreign land when the Political and Legal system of the host countries are strikingly different from that of the Home country.
In terms of cultural exchange, there is so much that the world has to offer us with. From the Family system to their food habits, their folk presentations during the festive seasons, their approaches to humanity in day-to-day life, etc. are also much unique to many places, especially when those countries are geographically located at a far off place. Wherever I have got a scope, I have not lost a chance to interact with the local public, understand their traditions to the best that I can within a short period of my stay at those lands, participate in their community gatherings if they are inclusive to outsiders like me and in this manner, I get to grasp a lot of knowledge about the manner in which these people attempt to make the world a better place to live in. Besides, in certain UN projects, I have participated in inculcating certain knowledge and spreading awareness in the under-developed nations as well. There are certain values that my culture has provided me with, which I feel is superior to theirs in terms of humanity. To that extent wherein there are no ego clashes, I also initiate health cultural exchange of thoughts and ideas with them. This is how I feel I am globalized to make a difference in the world to whatever bit that I can contribute.
