How do you see yourself using the information you learned in Modern U.S. History class in your life going forward (be honest!)?
One of the most important things about the US is that it has people who settled and people who have immigrated making it one of the largest multicultural society. This would mean that understanding the importance of living with people from all walks of life would reduce stress and help me become more open towards experience and exposure. Secondly, the society is changing and the individual rights also change as part of it providing new avenues to explore in terms of sexuality and drugs. This would mean developing a sense of identity and sticking to it without worrying about the changes and distractions would help me stay focused in order to lead a happy and content life. Thirdly, the changing family environment and its impact on the children and on the parties involved would be enormous. Thus, completing my education, getting a job and forming my own family is my goal. This is because experiencing and exposing myself to all the pleasures would only force me to get back to them which would cause issues in the family and in my work. Finally, I would like to engage myself in healthy behaviours that would not only help me stay healthy but also would help me build good habits when I get old.
