Answer:I take an example of pickled fruits for my discussion about the health effects due to addition of food additives to foods .We use different food additives like Food colours,Anti oxidants, gaseous nitrogen ,and hydrogen and Vinegar especially etc while packing these pickles and storage for long time.

-The use of food additives is to increase shelf life that is to decrease the oxidation of foods we use anti oxidants and we use other additives to improve the flavour,colour ,taste and to maintain texture of packed pickles our topic that we are discussing.

- There are various health effects by using these food additives Main problems or disadvantages are

*They may cause Allergic reactions

*They may cause Cancers in long term use

*Some chemicals like sulfites used as food additives cause headaches,Palpitations.

As a conclusion all these are because of such food additives MSG and Sulfites etc used in pickling should be regulated and used in limit.
