Why the instantaneous utilization is different from the schedule utilization?

Instantaneous utilization considers the time at particular simulation period and utilization may be zero if the capacity is zero, and instantaneous utilization calculated irrespective of time and capacity. Whereas schedule utilization consider time duration that is planned in prior and when there is capacity is non zero. Schedule utilization will never be zero.
