An unknown substance had a positive reaction with 2,4-DNP test. The unknown reacted like a secondary alcohol with the Lucas reagent. It was negative with the Iodoform and Benedict's test. What possible functional groups does the unknown contain?

-primary alcohol

-secondary alcohol

-tertiary alcohol

-ketone

-aldehyde

-methyl

-none tested

I answered ketone and aldehyde. I did not receive full credit. I also answered secondary, tertiary, ketone, and acetone, but did not receive full credit.

Hello, we were provided two unknown samples and asked to determine if our samples were alcohols or not, using the 2,4-di-nitrophenyl hydrazine test. Then we tested our positive sample with Fehlings test to determine that we had a Ketone and other sample using Lucas Reagent to determine that we had a secondary alcohol. We were given these graphs for our unknown samples to determine the connectivity/molecular struture. Please kindly assist or let me know what other information would help with...
