1- I would agree that Poor data quality and lack of trust in data are both same or we can say one challenge because poor data means data that is not reliable. when data is not reliable then people do not trust such data which would give poor results in the end. poor data lacks credibility, transparency and trust.

for example- a data collected from a blog site is not trustable as compared to data collected from scholarly articles because blog contains data based on opinion and views while scholarly articles have data based on actual facts and credible sources.

if people do not trust data given to them so it is unlikely that they would use it.so we can say that poor data quality actually same challenge as lack of trust in data.

i would suggest that empower individual to be transparent and accountable for the data provided or used. when people are kept in dark or provided poor data then there is no trust so when we empower individual to be transparent and take accountability for thier data then data quality improves.show them the actual and real use of data because when they fear what would happen and why data is used so uncertainty cause poor data generation and lack of data trust so be transparent, accounatable empowered also have data governance at organization.
