Answer #1

Procedure to create block diagram in Simulink.

1.Open the simulink .

2.Click anywhere on the workspace and type transfer fcn.Transfer fcn dialogue box appears click on that.

3.Now double click on the the transfer fcn box.

4.Below dialogue box appears.Type coefficients of transfer function in the boxes.

5.In the denominator we need 2nd degree polynomial ,to do that we need to add three coefficients of the equation.

The equation is   ,the coefficinets of the equation are [1 0 9].

6.Click on apply.

7.Now click anywhere on the workspace and type step ,step function dialogue box appears click on that.connect transfer functin and step function by arrow.

8.Connect scope to another side of transfer function.

Scope is used to view output function response.

Block diagram:

Input Response.

Output Response

Input response is unit step function ,the output response is periodic function.

The transfer function converted unit function into periodic function which changes periodically with respect to time,in the case step function the magnitute of the function doesn't change with respect to time.
