Explain how hypothesis testing and statistical inferences based on two samples are used to support areas of industry research, academic research, and scientific research.
Industry Research- In industry, hypothesis testing and statistical inference plays great role either it is for single sample data or it is for two samples. Hypothesis testing helps to test and analyse the current market based on the sample responses.
Whereas by using statistical inference we can find solution for entire population on the basis of samples we have collected. But for two samples we have to this process seprately. To made a conclusion.
Academic and Scientific Research- In this specific field or area we can say that everything we do or experimenting practically in industry is came from the academics and the scientific researches it defines the basis and gives proofs and sometimes to check those proofs in scientific research they need to test the situation by using hypothesis testing.Similarly in academics we take a data and based on the sample data without any knowledge of parameters we take decision about the population and give a statistic (a function based the sample data).

How does hypothesis testing help support the fields that employ the scientific method?
What is hypothesis testing? How would you explain it to someone who has not had as much statistical experience as you? What is the difference between the null and alternate hypotheses? What does the p-value tell you? When do you reject the null hypothesis or fail to reject the null hypothesis? Explain how collecting data (i.e. convenience sampling, randomly selected sample, etc.) for the samples could impact the ability to generalize your results to the whole population.
