Answer #1

(Answer) The idea of the conflict theory was propounded by Karl Marx. This theory suggests that society is in a constant state of peril due to limited resources. These resources are controlled by the few individuals who have affluence, authority and powers are the owners of the resources, are the bourgeoisie. The rest of the society is the laborers or the proletariats

Premise – That society is divided into the owners or the bourgeoisie and the proletariat or the working class. This is the premise because this is the fundamental basis or the essential variables of the theory. Here, the owners and the working class are the two important variables in society.

Assumption – In the above theory, the assumption is that the resources of society are limited. This is an assumption because these are not based on definitive results of a lab test but is mostly learned from observation. It is because of this assumption that the conflict can be determined and the interaction between the owners and the working class can be analyzed and theorized.
