Middle range theories are evolved and modernized at the areas of practice and research to achieve the precise course for general training and logical research that are to be found in the field of nursing. The middle-range theory assists to identify different environment for the objects or elements that are concerned in the ground of caring in nursing.

Leininger’s theory of Culture Care Diversity:

Leininger’s middle-range theory regards the concept of transcultural nursing developed by Madeleine Leininger. Leininger proposed the cultural care theory which states that nursing discipline should provide care that is culturally congruent and is suited to an individual's or an institution's cultural belief, values, and lifestyles. Caring is a dominant concept in nursing practice and providing care that addresses the cultural needs of a patient allows for a more trusting and understanding nurse-patient relationship.

Cultural care, according to the Leiningers theory, deals with the cultural elements of a patient. It does not concern the promotion of continuity of the nurses to the patient searching and learning the intravenous therapy in a home setting is a complete therapeutic and academic procedure.
