Answer #1

I work with Amazon Organization. The Company has strategic fit in its Supply Chain Management. The Organization is structured with both the push-pull strategy. When it comes to holding of the inventory, the push strategy is used so the inventory has buffer stocks to cater to the volatile demand in the market as well. With regards to the shipment of orders, however, the Pull strategy is used such that the order is processed only once it is placed. Interestingly, the Organization also follows the Pull manufacturing strategy for certain inventory that it does not stock. Hence this Organization is one of the classiest example of blending both kind of structure in itself.
