Write positive comments about her work:

Lauren's internship: Finally, a light at the end of the tunnel. 120 hours is accomplished and done! This week has been a little different in all aspects. I have five more business days left here at Wesley and I am so excited but yet kind of sad. I have learned so much from my preceptor and her team.

This week I have focused more on my finishing my project, I have a few slides to edit but I will be done with that by Friday. I still attend daily meetings and roundings, and while on todays roundings I almost, for like a second, wanted to be a nurse. I absolutely hate IVs, needles and shots. So I don't believe I will be pursuing that career path at this time but maybe in the future!

The environment here is getting better, construction sites are getting completed and patients are being able to go back to their proper homes. Although, construction sites are getting completed there are always new problems or updates that arise in the present and near future but one task at a time and this hospital will be back on track!

Policy development and updates have been into play literally everyday that I have been here for. Whether it is meetings or just communication between teams and departments. I am actually pretty familiar with three of them as those are the ones I am researching and providing in one of my projects. My knowledge of anything to do with policies has grown tremendously; something that I used to hate is now something that I love.

Communication between teams and departments are lacked. It is also the excuse of "I did not get that email" or "No one informed me about that." So after researching and talking to some fellow coworkers I have the perfect solution. You can actually attach a "read receipt" onto every email that has great significance you should always attach this and when you do so, you will get a notification saying that they have opened the email and read it. This is something that I just learned about and will be telling my preceptor about that way she can forward that information on and start doing it herself.
