To what extent do you think your behavior patterns emanate from biologically-based, wired-in instinct (if any) and how much from cultural learning/acquired culture and language (if any)? And why do you think that?
I think 30% behaviour pattern emanated from biologically based wired instinct while 70% from acquired learning , culture and language.
Biologically fixed could include manly behavior of possessiveness, bravery, cowardness , aggression like males are more aggressive , risk taking abilities etc.
Because , when we are born we are not cOmpletely a blank slate but as a child as well some behavioral properties in us are inherent. For eg. A sense of justice and a sense of care for other person. It is quite evident from the behaviour of a young one or an infant. When we were young we could many times differentiate between what is good and what was bad, similarly what is fair to be. Also a behavior of care could be seen in small children for others like their siblings.
Though many behavioural patterns are not inherent and are learnt through life like respecting women, or not respecting them or not considering them equals, sharing stuff with others, doing something for others, charity, patience , manners , ethics and attitude towards life. All these are shaped as the person grows older and develops rather than biologically fixed.

Nature/nurture debate within psychology is concerned with the extent to which particular aspects of behavior are a product of either inherited (genetic) or acquired (learned) characteristics. This exercise will help you explore that debate by looking at one specific behavior, aggression. Bandura's (1977) social learning theory states that aggression is learned from the environment through observation and imitation (nurture). He concludes this, in part, from the results of his famous Bobo doll experiment (Bandura, 1961). Review the Bobo experiment here,...
