What is an advantage that LASSO Regression have over Stepwise Regression?

a) Stepwise Regression only works when there are a few covariates with a strong relationship with the response. While LASSO works even when there aren't.

b) LASSO has an absolute value term which makes coefficients positive thus making the model more interpretable.

c) LASSO Regression can be run on small datasets while Stepwise Regression needs more data

d) LASSO can help avoid overfitting while Stepwise Regression does not since it does not shrink the covariates.
